COLLAPSIBLE BUNDS

SpillSmart Collapsible Bunds contain accidental spills & leaks and provide cost-effective temporary storage for liquids and chemicals. This bund is perfect for:

DRIVE OVER FLOOR BUND KIT

SpillSmart Drive Over Floor Bunding is designed for containment of accidental spills where non-aggressive liquids are being stored. Its constructed with a Han welded Heavy Duty PVC cover, sealing, an internal 100% memory foam insert inside. This provides easy access for trucks and forklifts whilst retaining its shape. By combining corner pieces with standard 5m or ‘made to measure’ lengths, this product is easy to customise to meet specific bunding requirements.

Installation is simple. The Bund is secured to the floor with an adhesive glue. For heavy-duty applications flat bar is recommended with dyna bolts drilled every 500mm.

Perfect for busy workshops and forecourt areas where non-aggressive liquids are stored.

DRAIN WARDEN

SpillSmart Drain Wardens are a highly effective storm water drain insert. Water entering the drain, filters through the polypropylene geotextile material and a highly absorbent sock. Hydrocarbons, Silt, Oil, Trash and other Pollutants are easily absorbed or caught as the water freely passes through. DRAIN WARDEN – with GUTTER GUARD

The Drain Warden with Gutter Guard installs  internally into the stormwater outlet with the benefit of being unobtrusive for vehicles and pedestrian traffic.  Water entering the drain passes through a geotextile filter combined with a highly absorbent hydrophobic polypropylene sock. Whilst silt, trash and debris are captured in the filter, hydrocarbons, oils and fuels are absorbed in the suspended sock. The Gutter Guard attached to the Drain Warden, blocks excess water from the drains curb side opening preventing further debris from entering. In situations of excessive waterfall, the Drain Wardens built in overflow features prevents water backing up. 

GEL FILLED DRAIN COVER

Drain protection is an essential element in a spill control plan. In the event of a spill, unwanted liquid pollutants must be prevented from entering waterways and into the environment via stormwater drains. The SpillSmart Gel Filled Drain Cover is highly resistant to many liquids and creates a seal by the activation of specially designed polymer powder that activate with water. The expanding powder converts to a gel like mass in the seal pocket easily moulding to uneven surfaces when pressed into place around the drain opening.

The Drain Cover is manufactured from Heavy Duty 900gsm PVC and features 4 x 25mm webbing handles for convenient hanging storage and lifting. An internal sewn foam layer in the base enhances its ability to seal, finished with a 270gsm Geofabric polypropylene underside.

SPILLSMART DRUM BUND FRAME AND COVER

Drum Bunds are a popular choice for providing secondary containment for leaks and spills whilst storing Drums and other containers. However, if they are required to be stored outdoors, cover protection should be acquired.

SpillSmart Bund Covers, supplied with a frame, provide great weather protection and protection from other debris from entering the sump. Keeping rain water from filling the sump is the prime reason for investing in this product. Bund capacities are generally calculated to hold 110% of the liquid stored. If rain water accumulates in the bund sump and a leak from stored drums eventuated, the risk therefore would be the bund overflowing causing a spill.

SpillSmart Bund Covers are manufactured from a Heavy Duty, UV treated PVC. They feature industrial grade #10 zippers both front and back for easy access, with Velcro tabs to roll up the access points. Velcro tabs are also featured internally to secure the cover to the frame. 

The frame manufactured from galvanised steal is dispatched flat packed with the cover and assembles with just 2 x 13mm spanners in minutes. Covers and frames are available for both 2 and 4 Drum Bunds with custom options available.
