EnviroSmart
company history
Over the preceding 7 years, Stephen Clark has
been involved in the development of products in the Spill
Control market place initially from a purely marketing perspective.
From here, Stephen noticed that products at the premium end
of this market place in Australia where imported and so he
set about, together with a team that boasts world class Australian
scientists, engineers and microbiologists, to design and develop
a biologically active premium loose particulate absorbent
range. This has since become a market leader in the industry
promoting an Australian made alternative.
Initially,
Envirosmart was founded by Mr. Stephen Clark with view to
commercialising various water treatment technologies being
developed at the time.
Envirosmart
was selected, based on its water treatment R&D work, as
one of thirteen environmental companies from all over the
world by the Japan Government via its trade arm, Jetro to
attended a conference in Tokyo December 2000 designed to assist
these companies, because of their advanced environmental technology
that is commercially relevant, to enter the Japanese market.
This came shortly after being invited on a similar mission
into China to look at potential markets and solutions required
at the time. Both trips where very successful for Envirosmart
as we are still negotiating with parties from these trips
for potential alliances.
Envirosmart
has also diversified back into it original market place by
taking advantage of niche markets in the Spill Control product
market place. Envirosmart has developed product to a new level
of technology meeting world standard set by the USA EPA and
to assist business owners and managers meet there due diligence
responsibilities under ISO 14001.
Envirosmart
has also developed further technologies in the area of odour
control, dust suppression, microbial waste treatment and by
teaming with world class industrial chemists, can provide
cutting edge chemical cleaner technology.
